The opening of the green was Saturday 18th April 2026 and the Club President Charlie Beveridge rolled the Silver Jack to open the green on the 125th Anniversary of the club.

The opening day saw 38 members playing in two teams the Presidents select v The Vice Presidents Select with a win for the Presidents select on the day. 

The day was concluded by a fantastic performance from Amii and Claire who shared a range of songs to end a great day.

The club played South Queensferry in our annual friendly on Saturday 2nd May at South Queensferry with a 2pm start. The Club had 3 winning rinks and 2 losing rinks but an overall 1 shot victory saw the club returning home with the cup.

Tuesday was the first games in this seasons W Babb with all 4 teams at home. The 4 teams were drawn in Sections 1, 2, 4 & 5 and there were mixed results. Andy Clark's rink lost out to Lochgelly in section 1, Joe Mcintyre's rink won 16-12 against Burntisland in section 2, Alex Divertie's rink drew 14-14 in section 4 against Nethertown and Charlie Beveridge's rink lost 14-10 against Cowdenbeath. The games take place every tuesday afternoon and the fixtures can be found on the West Fife website.

The first week saw mixed fortunes for the 2 Inverkeithing teams. Inverkeithing 1 lost out to West End 4.5 to 2.5 in their first division fixture while Inverkeithing 2 had a good victory at home against Headwell 1 winning 5-2 in Division Two. The league is on Wednesday nights and the fixtures can be viewed on the West Fife website.

The Club have entered 3 rinks in this years Carnegie trophy. 2 of the rinks are at the West End with the other rink at Crossgates. The competition is 17 ends. The Club had 2 wins and 1 loss finishing 7th in the final setup. At the West End Michael McLean's rink had a narrow win 12-11 against Dunfermline Northern, Joe McIntyre's rink lost to the winners Bowhill 17-13 and at Crossgates Neil Lawson's rink won 15-10.

Yesterday the club held their first game in this years 125th Anniversary. 6 Inverkeithing rinks played against teams from Headwell, Charlestown, Townhill, Dunfermline Northern, Aberdour and Crossgates. The final score saw Inverkeithing 76 shots to the visitors 72 shots and the highest up rink for Inverkeithing was Brian Reid's rink and for the visiting teams Headwell were the highest up rink.

Loraine Coates supplied the teams with a lovely buffet after the game assisted by Jackie McQueen and Gil Paterson kept the teams watered in the afternoon.
